Sponsor a Senior Design Project

We always welcome project ideas and can work with you to define and scope the project.

Potential projects can be any software applications that can be reasonably attempted by a small team of software engineers in a single semester. (For larger projects it may be possible to break them into components for multiple teams and/or multiple semesters.)

Some examples include creating or extending existing tools or systems, creating mobile apps and backend services, data visualizations or other tools for analytics and research, applications of machine learning, and more.

The commitment to sponsor a project can be minimal, amounting to 2 or 3 short meetings over the semester (along with email access for questions).
